They swell; vast, billowed vessels
In twenty shades of gray
Suspended, low and lumbering
Adrift on heaven’s bay
Above them azure nothingness
Extends to heaven’s door
I watch from earthen thresholds,
Just a speck upon its floor
The sassy breezes tumble, stumble
Laugh and sob and weep
Confused as I beneath a sky
Of dizzy, drifting deep

The sky was really cool today.
ReplyDeleteI had some time to appreciate it as I waited and drove with Katrina. She has her G2.....sigh. :)
