Waiting for Victoria's bus...
Wake up, wake up, the cup that tips and spills time’s
quintessence
Pours morning’s glory-tide across the yard, brook, field and
fence
It rushes through the downtown square and skims the
heaving sea
A holy invitation from heaven to you and me
To break the bread of life where joy and strife their portions
mete
To give the whole of heart and soul to every crumb we eat
To return to the Giver with our simple say-and-do
A hearty, humble labor that manifests love’s “thank-you”

Bye-bye, Victoria!
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might;
Eccles.9:10
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Col.3:23-24
Is your winter finally over? I hope so -- time for spring! Our peonies are full of buds already..and weeds are going strong :) Kids look wonderful, Janet.

Wishing you a joyful day!
Hi Sasha!
DeleteI hope our winter is over and the weather people are wrong. Saturday's forecast is scattered flurries!and 4C but next week looks more spring-ish. Weeds and peony buds!!! We're still waiting for warmth to wake anything...heck, at this point I'd welcome a weed! lol! Glad to hear you are enjoying nice spring things! Yes, the family is doing well and Brantley is growing WAY too fast! We have so much fun with him:)
I wasn't going to write today but this one just sort of wrote itself while we watched daybreak happen! Brantley is here between before 6:30 when Emily works the day-shift so we can enjoy watching the day wake up together.Right now everyone is having sleeps so it's nice and quiet for a bit.
Thank-you for your visit to my porch, as always.
