This know also, that
in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be
lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to
parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural
affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce,
despisers of those
that are good,
Traitors, heady,
highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are
they which creep into houses,
and lead captive
silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Ever learning, and
never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Tim. 3:1-7
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.
Psalm 145:13
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.
Psalm 145:13
Above prayer from Sermons and Prayers by Peter Marshall
These perilous days
are here
Of Ignorance without
fear
A world of youth
blind to the Truth
And ears that do not
hear
These perilous days
have come
Of hearts haughty and
numb
So cold to God, bold
to applaud
Evil’s appalling sum
These perilous days
will pass
But oh, alas, alas
To those who think
that they can wink
At death and die as
grass
These perilous days
are grim
Still, all who trust
in Him
Can know for sure, Hope
is secure
Though hope seems dark
and dim
These perilous days
are here
Of doubt, hate,
godless fear
Still, God of grace
will help us face
These days…He remains
near
These perilous,
perilous days
Cannot annul the
praise
To Holy God from sky,
sea, sod
Attuned to mercy’s
gaze
Then pray, before the
toll
That severs skin and soul
We have believed and
thus received
Through grace, the Victor’s goal
