As Time goes by it
teaches us
How swift each gifted
leap
Ah, subtle, soft, the
lullaby
That rocks a year to
sleep
As Time goes by it
touches us
With hands no one can
still
And makes us wiser
‘neath The Must
That moves against
our will
As time goes by we
learn to live
With kinder, meeker
Take
Because Time, as it
gives and gives
Leaves echoes in its
wake
As time goes by we
realize
How smooth it ebbs
away
And humbly hold the
holy prize
Of simple day to day

Happy quarter-century
birthday, dear daughter!
Trust in the Lord
with all your heart
And lean not on your
own understanding
Prov.3:5
Lovely poem. Lovely pictures.
