Here's to the Sacred Surge of Simply This ...
Upon a brink of gray or pink
A whole new day of wonder waits
To thrill and fill toil’s common drill
With gifts from He who keeps time’s gates
The rise and keel of how we feel
Would vex the best of us with fear
But for God’s grace to human race
No matter what we face, my dear
This is the day the Lord has made
For us to praise and worship Him
To find within care’s common skin
The Fount where constant wonders brim
The hunger of all that we love
Leaves nothing but a gaping hole
Until we lean on the Unseen
And let His promises console
Time's skiff of sod twixt us and God
Is like a raft that bears us through
The Here and now until we bow
Before the throne of you know Who
Then we will see with clarity
Where now through darkened glass we strain
Until That Place when
face to face
The what and why will be made plain

Have you read the last few chapters of Daniel recently?!
Sobering stuff and stunningly relevant to the days we are living in!
Daniel 12: 1-4 (NIV)
The End Times
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress
such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But
at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the
book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise[a] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
