So much to love for and so little Time
Darling, a life is so brief
Flicker of fancy where season-song chimes
Stripping the limb of its leaf
Shaping the future through present-to-past
Where soon a lifetime is gone
Darling, the flower of Hour falls fast
Riot of petals on stone
Sooner or later we reap what we sow
Barter and banter is vain
Time will reveal all that we need to know
Fruit of the field will explain
Subtle, the mettle of the unseen root
Darling, let’s keep this in mind
Sooner or later the tree will bear fruit
Every seed after its kind
