Happy September!
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14
A sweep of light o’er deep of night
Intensifies its majesty
A symbol of eternal love
From God above to you and me
The misty veil o’er dell and dale
Wafts like a soft gossamer stream
Where peach and plum of summer’s sum
Anoints its crest with pungent gleam
Earth’s musky mane of corn and grain
Cannot restrain its rustling limbs
But brush morn’s thoroughfare of air
With nature’s hallelujah hymns
Man’s avenue of say and do
Is polished with God’s latest grace
Where morn to morn time is reborn
Extending hope for human race
