…and then we’re surprised and awed and amazed
Humbly we watch it pour
As mercy-drops fall in torrential grace
Across earth’s dust-ridden floor

In dumb-founded gratitude tears mix with rain
And all I can think to do
Is lift up my voice in devotion to Him
Crying thank-you, thank-you, thank-you

With the humidity came an unexpected down-pour…down the road a couple miles it remained dry!

I think I heard the corn rows gulping!

Thank-you for the prayers TUG. I told hubby it must be those prayers all the way from Spain;))

  1. hahaahaha! I laughed as soon as I read the title and saw the first pic. :D

    Our God is Good!

  2. Our God Is good! But you are touching on something that I am contemplating as I am SLOWLY reading the book A Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. Our God IS good no matter what!

Thank-you again for your prayers. I believe they made a difference! And I believe in lifting our petitions to him and then I believe as He responds IT IS GOOD!

  3. p.s. Ann Voskamp is the author of A Holy Experience blog. See link in side-bar.

Thank you for your visit to this porch. I'd love to hear if or how this post/poem touched you!
