This is no joke

Time’s beck-and-call

That bids us trust in God

For all

This is no hoax

Man’s pray-and-plead

That God will satisfy

Our need

This is no game

Inhale, exhale

Toward that Gate where

Flesh will fail

This is no trick

Of time and space

This is Reality

Of God’s grace

This is no bluff

Of Stuff’s nonsense

This is Choice before

Recompense

This is no con

Though fools applaud

Those who dare turn their

Backs on God

This is no joke

God’s love, full, free

Is man’s salvation for

Eternity
