Prompt: choices
H-m-m-m
To write or not to write
An addiction is never
Really a fight
Unless we desire to over-come
I’m addicted to the love of word
So writing wins
Every time

Agreed - love your whole porch concept.
ReplyDeleteThanks:)
ReplyDeleteDon't you ever try to overcome! :-)
ReplyDeleteAs it should!
ReplyDeleteBut is it really an addiction... or your salvation?
Thank-you HA and Kim:) yes, I prefer not to call it an addiction, just an in sane lust for writing:)that I see no need to overcome at this point, with the slightest encouragement no to;-)
ReplyDeleteThere are no choices when it comes to writing. One just HAS to!
ReplyDeleteYour poem gives me pause for reflection. Writing as an addiction. Well, I sure can't stay away from it so you might have a good point here! I'm glad that is our addiction!
