Sometimes, when no one is watching
I reach out, quickly snatching
Favorite thoughts and memories
Back again
I taste them, as forbidden sweets
Closing my eyes,to savor every last bit
Of sugar that may be left
In them
What a wonderful pleasure I have found
Some things are still delicious
The second time around
