Fresh white grace covers cold dullness
Of winter’s frayed and faded fling
We dream of emerald fullness
As eagerly we wait for spring
White as snow, that is the promise
Of God’s pure grace-gift offering
Yet, we long for verdant gladness

Now the landscape is a river
Argent above the whispering
Of green seas she will deliver
