I wish sometime, I’d turn around
And see you standing there
Not an illusion in my mind
Or whisper in my prayer
But in the form of flesh and blood
The longing of my sighs
Would unfold from my fainting thought
The azure of your eyes
And all the prayers borne on the wind
In twilight’s waning gleam
Would be ten fingers now, entwined
Beyond a transient dream
I wish sometime I’d turn around
To see you standing there
But night descends without a sound
I breathe another prayer
