The Falling Like Leaves Poem...

This poem began with a line early this morning but then the day started happening and now I'm letting the lines fall at free will here and there through-out the day...

Time’s skeins unfurl in silver mist
Across a world fresh and frost-kissed…

Fall falls in flavor; full, robust
Caramel, orange, cinnamon, rust...

It thrills in giggles of little boy blue

And spills from steeples of thinning
adieu

Time dashes through doors left ajar
It dapples floors with broken stars

It roves the russet under-tow
And hugs the earth like painted snow...

…or smiles in lamp-light circles where
Echoes of summer warm the air

Time’s skeins unfurl, dusk-pungent rush
Where autumn curls into its hush
