Life is poetry waiting to be written
You take the most beautiful pictures. Amazingly, we here have had few scenes like this this winter. Last year I saw deer tromp in the snow close to my home; but this has been such a snowless winter that I have seldom seen them at all. I have missed that, but not the snow.
It is the same here...I was almost shocked to see the ground white this morning! in the middle of a Canadian winter!! Many older than I cannot remember anything like this here. I'll post a picture in the header of our bare fields yesterday:)
p.s. I'm like you, or so I thought, but there is a teeny-weeny part of me, I'm talking like grain of sand size:) that misses the snow.
You just described my morning...this is perfect ~Nice to see you trying haiku form ~
Thank-you Grace...you know, you are partly responsible:) for some reason this form intimidates me, but it has too much power and beauty to be ignored:)
Thank you for your visit to this porch. I'd love to hear if or how this post/poem touched you!
