Gladder, If You Please

Col.3:12-14
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another,
if anyone has a complaint against another;
even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
14 But above all these things put on love,
which is the bond of perfection.

No matter what happens, we are accountable
for our response...
thus, this little Sabbath Prayer...

God, make me gladder, if you please
To ‘do unto the least of these’
With generous humility
Remembering, it is to Thee
Then, with kinder heart, soul and mind
May I life's perfect purpose find
To love Thee, Lord, above all else
And then my neighbor as myself
Amen

As today's bud unfolds
may we remember we will bring its flower
back to the One who gave it
God bless you today!

Matt.25:40
And the King shall answer and say unto them,
 ‘Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it
 unto one of the least of these My brethren,
ye have done it unto Me.’
