Haiku on Love

It’s safer that way
She says, locking herself in
Or, is she locked out?
 ***
A wall with no door
Is a barrier to flesh
But never to love
***
Love does not build walls
And walls cannot dissuade it
Love can seep through steel

  1. I love this, Janet. I love haiku, the simplicity, and being forced to make the most out of the few words allowed. "Love can seep through steel." Yes it can, and does. I know love like that and can feel what you are saying.

  4. Emma, Haiku still intimidates me tremendously, but like you said...I love its simplicity and I find myself drawn to it in spite of my hesitation.Thank-you for your encouragement.
