White Grace Haiku

In the quiet night
the sky parted her dark lips
exhaling white grace

  1. You take the most beautiful pictures. Amazingly, we here have had few scenes like this this winter. Last year I saw deer tromp in the snow close to my home; but this has been such a snowless winter that I have seldom seen them at all. I have missed that, but not the snow.

  2. It is the same here...I was almost shocked to see the ground white this morning! in the middle of a Canadian winter!! Many older than I cannot remember anything like this here. I'll post a picture in the header of our bare fields yesterday:)

  3. p.s. I'm like you, or so I thought, but there is a teeny-weeny part of me, I'm talking like grain of sand size:) that misses the snow.

  5. Thank-you Grace...you know, you are partly responsible:) for some reason this form intimidates me, but it has too much power and beauty to be ignored:)
