A Little like a Snowfall Haiku

It falls soundlessly
In profound transformation
And then we are old

Limbs supple; fruitful
Surrender to time’s wisdom
White crowns youth’s forehead

Back into the earth
Returns all manner of life
A tiny seed stirs
