Season-scenes

This tree has framed many a season-scene...

Seasoned scenes of seasons seem to
Slip seamlessly past our gaze
Where the cast of wake and sleep seeps
To the deeps of Bygone days

Life is rife with knife-like hunger
Want taunts haunts within the mind
We bear naked shares of care, love
Plunder blunder, wonder-blind

Sometimes sums of summer-winter
Summarize their words in sighs
Seasoned scenes of seasons seem to
Slip, a blip before our eyes
