Not Gathered Yet...

A new day draws across the place
Of grace and spent faux pas
From love’s replenishing embrace
Mercy extends its cause

The laws of time are such that we
Never repeat one gasp
My, my, how soft the poetry
Of it tickles our clasp

To have and hold; ah, seamless shift
That lifts the dark again
Before its bark is set adrift
On past’s unyielding plain

A new days draws its sacred breath
Where death of eons lies
Beneath the wellspring of new birth
Hope fills unmeasured skies

To have and hold; ah, what a gift
Our God did not forget
But lifts the veil that sets adrift
Moments not gathered yet

This week has been filled with moments overflowing with family and friends,
and with a few weddings at the end of it, will continue to be so.
Had a very special evening out with friends.
Thank-you, gals;-)
It also has its un-expectations.
Our day out for Emily's birthday was shortened a bit because she needed to take her hubby to see a Dr. after an injury at work.
Pray for quick healing for his strained back-muscles;(
Hopefully it will not require too much time off work!
Trust-lessons are always hard...

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:8
