Back when us young ‘uns
Was punished fer wrongins’
That went against The Good Book
When things like fishin’
Was what we was wishin’
Wasn’t the thing that they took
Back when God’s Word
Was read and revered
And taught in both home and school
Them was the good ole ways
the 'See-you-in-church-on-Sunday' days
Unless of course, you was a fool
