Words will have their place

In the coming days and years

But for now we embrace

In wordless prayer and tears

A nation mourns its loss

Is there comfort at all?

But this; God loves us still

He sees a sparrow fall

 ...and in His loving arms

Each child is safe; secure

Where no evil can harm

While we its grief endure
