She pours her mirth
Upon the earth
In rainbow chivalry
The emerald hill
The daffodil
The blushing cherry tree
The crimson guile
Of tulip-smile
The azure of the sky
Mirrored upon
The rippling pond
And in the wee lad’s eye
In glee unfurled
She sweeps the world
Her generosity
Leaving behind
For pensive mind
A world of poetry
