I cradle within my senses
The things I cannot hold
The two-toned murmur of your sigh
Your gaze, timid and bold
When the darkness closes in
I cradle in my arms
The candor of your reckless grin
The pleasure of your charms
Silence would bear a hollow roar
The night would be so cold
And moments would be nothing more
Than emptiness to hold
…if I, within my senses
Had nothing to embrace
I lower my defenses
And softly kiss your face…
