But For God





Not for fame or fortune
Should we spend our days
But for God the Father
Who deserves all praise

Not for fickle riches
That this world endows
But for God who gives us
That which He allows

Not for adulation
Of our fellow-men
But for God; His glory
Forevermore, amen

    Very inspiring quote from the Bible.

    Modern man runs after things which do not last and in the process the soul and after life is sacrificed.

    WHAT DOES IT PROFIT A MAN, IF HE GAINS THEWHOLE WORLD BUT SUFFER THE LOSS OF HIS OWN SOUL.

    Very thought provoking poem.
