Mon Amour

Greedy, garbled, gluttonous game
Want wastes words, barters with blame
If love loses its first flame
Lusting for self-satisfaction
Sorrow slips from fingertips
Forgiveness forges friendships
Laughter lavishes love’s lips
With ‘Mon amour’ attraction

...invites us to try this prompt;
Sounds of love CACOPHONY and EUPHONY.

  1. You did a great job with this very difficult prompt! Doesn't sound forced at all.

    Which movie is this still from? I don't think I've seen it, don't recognize the actor.

    1. Thank-you:) It IS a tricky one! I'm not positive but i was looking for William Holden pics and my guess is maybe from the movie Sabrina but not positive. Recently I've been trying to find William Holden movies on you-tube. He is so good! Sabrina is one of my top 10 fav's I think:)

      I'll need to wait til later tonight for a shot at a wikem...busy day!!

    2. I don't think I've seen any movies with young William Holden. I remember him in the "Network". I don't think I've seen "Sabrina" either...adding it to my to-watch list :-)

    3. Golden Boy starring William Holden, link here...

      You will love Sabrina. There is a newer version of the movie starring Harrison Ford and I can never remember the woman in it but she is fantastic. I need to check out 'Network'.

Thank you for your visit to this porch. I'd love to hear if or how this post/poem touched you!
